A meeting in which experts of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) thanked representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) for their cooperation and presented preliminary results of the audit, concluded a 7-day coordinated mission for the validation of compliance with ICAO standards in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which lasted from 18-25 February 2019. With the issuance of the AOC and its related solution, the operator of Fly Bosnia is authorized to perform commercial air transport operations of passengers, goods and mail. Issuance of an Air Operator Certificate is one of the most complex processes and procedures implemented by the BHDCA. In line with its responsibilities, the BHDCA offered a great deal of support, assistance and understanding to Fly Bosnia in their efforts to fulfil all of the prescribed requirements for issuance of an Air Operator Certificate and to commence operations.
